Not bad, not bad! Rather endearing, even. A pretty good base. It just needs, something a little more...how about,

Oh, I'm not too disguised currently, but I'll be concealing myself until you're here...being somewhat out in the open, one can never be too cautious of pursuers on this sort of occasion. [reassuring!] If you'd like to have a disguise anyhow, though, do feel free! A hoodie is the uniform of common crime nowadays for a reason, not a bad choice. And the code phrase should suffice either way, yes?
